To celebrate the launch of Borderlands 4, Gearbox is giving out in-game legendary guns and weapon skins through Twitch Drops and Newsletters. Redeeming the exclusive rewards requires a SHiFT account that’s linked to both a Twitch user and a preferred gaming platform for Borderlands 4.
Players can receive the legendary guns by watching eligible Twitch streams for two hours each between September 11 and September 30. The Midnight Defiance legendary sniper rifle is available when watching partnered creators’ livestreams of Borderlands 4; the Forsaken Chaos shotgun is accessible when watching any Borderlands 4 livestream.
When watching any Borderlands 4 livestreams on the official Borderlands 4 Twitch and Gearbox Twitch channels for 20 minutes, you can get the “Watch, Drop, and Roll” ECHO-4 Drone Skin until September 26. It’s even possible to earn more rewards through digital subscriptions, like Hazard’s Pay. The Hazard’s Pay weapon skin is redeemable when subscribing to the newsletter and digital marketing from 2K and Gearbox.
There are more chances for in-game rewards in the future with Gearbox’s SHiFT account and roadmap. The game’s future support will include both paid and free content throughout 2025 and 2026. More information about their upcoming updates and future packs will be announced through their social media or digital marketing.
Borderlands 4 is out now for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, with a Switch 2 launch on October 3.
