WB Games confirms the new release date and DLC for the latest Lego Batman on Switch 2

Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight was previously delayed on the Nintendo Switch 2, with no release date until a recent announcement. It’s finally confirmed to release on September 18, 2026.

The Nintendo Switch 2 port of Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is available for preorder in either physical or digital format and includes a new Batman suit as a preorder bonus. Similar to other gaming platforms, the game will release in two editions: standard edition and deluxe edition.

The physical format for Nintendo Switch 2 is confirmed as a Game-Key Card, taking just under 25 GB. Its physical deluxe edition does include an exclusive Lego Retro Video Game Batman figurine, though supplies are limited. It’s also confirmed that the Mayhem Collection will be playable for multiple gaming platforms during the Nintendo Switch 2 release, letting anyone finally experience the villains with the new modes.
