This is via third-party commenting systems that may or may not have its own commenting policies. Derogatory terms and sexist remarks are hard no-nos. We do not believe name-calling is a good use of time, and we take this seriously. Personal attacks due to sexual orientation, ethnic background, and targeted sexist remarks are not welcome here. Yes, jokes are one thing, but please do not target people or push the boundaries of what is allowed. Smash Jump reserves the right to delete comments we expect are purposefully pushing said boundaries.
Trolling is not okay. We ask things to be kept on-topic, civil, and not solely to cause ire. Smash Jump will delete comments we suspect are trolls. Similarly, we ask you not feed the trolls — it only emboldens them.
Spam is not allowed here. If you are spamming as an individual asking us the same tired question or request, we will continue to delete your comments. Off-topic self-promotion is only allowed with the express permission of site editors.
We do not allow NSFW content, links, or images on our site or in comments. This ranges from links to unsavory websites hosting softcore stuff, hardcore stuff, gore, or content of a “disturbing” nature. Basically, keep it PG-13.
There are better means of site bashing than publicly in comments. If there are any problems, you can direct them to our owner and editor-in-chief, Gabriel, through his official Smash Jump email. Similarly, if you wish to report comments that slip through the cracks, reach out to that same email.
