Two years ago, Ubisoft released Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to Steam. Weirdly, though, the French developer decided to omit Steam Achievements. Now, though, it’s finally getting them.
On SteamDB (via Eurogamer), it shows that the dev added Steam Achievements in a Monday update. This is great news for AC fans, as this was a bizarre decision that’s a point toward Ubisoft’s return to the PC storefront after a period of making Steam an afterthought compared to its own platform.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which now releases in February and may have a co-op mode, will be heading to Steam day one, and fans can expect Mirage later in the month.
