During The Game Awards, it was unveiled that Dave the Diver was going to get a little more Lovecraftian, with a Dredge DLC. Well, that patch is out now, and alongside that, it includes system improvements, optimizations, tweaks to underwater exploration, and a whole lotta bug fixes.
The Dredge crossover DLC sees Dave introduced to the Traveling Merchant, who will visit after building the Chicken Farm on a foggy night. During these foggy nights, players can actually control the boat just like in the other boat-centered.
The game now has a Dredging System, which allows Dave to dive at specific locations to receive various items. There are also three new spots for Dave to dive, all three of which have different aberrant fish lurking below. A new weapon — the Drain Gun — can be acquired through the DLC.
The Dave the Diver x Dredge DLC also introduces Hooded Figures, a new customer type that shows up asking for sushi made from the new aberrant fish. The patch is available now, and if you wanna know all the technical improvements made, you can find it on Nexon’s website.
