Deus Ex Remastered delayed with no new release date

Aspyr has revived several franchises for the modern market, like Tomb Raider, Star Wars, and Soul Reaver. Deus Ex Remastered is one of its upcoming projects originally scheduled for February 5, 2026, before its recent delay.

The game’s delay was in response to the community’s feedback during its initial reveal. The majority were unsatisfied with the remastered graphics designed for modern platforms, revealing minimal improvements from the original release. Since the studio prioritizes fan feedback, anyone who preordered the game will receive a full refund. This decision also implies Deus Ex Remastered’s new release date to be much farther in the company’s schedule since there’s no new launch window. Aspyr will provide new updates for the game later, showing newer visual enhancements and quality of life improvements to meet fan expectations.

Thank you to the community for your feedback following the reveal of Deus Ex Remastered. We've listened to what you said, and in order to better meet fan expectations and deliver the best possible experience for players, Deus Ex Remastered will no longer launch on Feb. 5, 2026. pic.twitter.com/NhalyPLm8q
