EA Sports FC 24 tops latest UK sales chart

Despite lacking the iconic FIFA branding, Electronic Arts has managed to push out its own soccer game — EA Sports FC 24 — and push it to the top of the charts. It’s beaten out even the likes of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Hogwarts Legacy, and Modern Warfare III, though, considering the last of the trio’s Steam sales has been outsold by indie game Lethal Company, that’s not too shocking.

According to the recent GFK charts, which list the 40 best-selling games in the UK, the top spots were shaken up a bit, with Game of the Year contender Super Mario Bros. Wonder taking second place, leaving Hogwarts Legacy, which was previously getting silver in bronze place. Further down the list, more shakeups occurred, with games like Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Minecraft, and Grand Theft Auto 5 all moving up the ranks.

Some games remain in the same spot as GFK’s previous report, like Sonic Superstars, Nintendo Switch Sports, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and the like snugly staying in the same spots.
