A compelling and thrilling new game mode is set to join The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, helping to expand the world of Texas Chainsaw in a new way.
The new game mode, Rush Week, features six sorority girls trying to survive against Johnny Slaughter. A new trailer was also released for the mode. It is a 1v6 mode with new mechanics. These include new ways for the killer to find the girls and for the girls to fight back and track Johnny.
Players playing as the sorority girls will be able to utilize things like knives, wrenches, and pepper spray. They will also be able to use perfume, which will allow them to track Johnny. On the other hand, Johnny will be able to track the girls with a new fear system that evens the playing field. The girls will be able to lower fear by completing objectives like calling the police.
Kim Henkel, the visionary writer of the screenplay for the original 1974 film, consulted on this new game mode with Gun Interactive. With the direction provided by Kim Henkel, the developers have a new and unique opportunity to explore the world and create new content while staying true to its inspiration, the original films.
The mode will be released in waves. At first, it will be available to owners of the content pass, and then a short while later, it will be free to everyone. Players with the content pass can start playing on September 26, while the rest must wait until September 30.
