Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is coming soon, but apparently not with New Game+ unless you’ve purchased the $69.99 Master Vacation Bundle. NG+ is a staple in most any RPG, LaD games included, which makes this decision rather sour news for fans to swallow.
As spotted by PCGamer, the official website lists the differences between versions, stating that the standard version won’t come with the coveted feature, despite LaD being one of those franchises that often uses NG+ as a means to get a completionist playthrough.
Additionally, to add extra weight, flying completely under the radar, one Reddit user tapped Sega’s support team to see if this was some sort of mix up, only to learn there wasn’t. Of course, you could play the base game and get NG+ later down the line with it available as a separate $15 purchase, but regardless it seems like an utterly bizarre decision on Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s part.
