Mouse: P.I. For Hire introduces new unconventional guns

A trio of new firearms has been revealed in the latest trailer of Mouse: P.I. For Hire. Neither its developer Fumi Games or PlaySide Studios have shared a release date.

You can see the trio of “experimental weapons,” or “home essentials,” as it’s labeled in the trailer. The guns include the CLEAN-D Turpentine Gun, which seems to melt your adversaries, COOL-D Freeze Gun, which freezes enemies in place and can be shattered, likely leading to easier fights, and the MIND-D Self-Aware Attitude Changer, which will lead to your foes’ heads exploding.

This new trailer gives us more reasons to get hyped for this fast-paced hand-drawn adventure. Naturally, the game finds comparisons to Cuphead, but to be fair, this game takes that rubber hose animation style and puts a grittier coat of black and white paint on it.

Mouse: P.I. For Hire has no release date, but it is confirmed to be releasing on current and last-gen hardware, as well the Switch 2.
