Rhythm giant Rock Band 4 getting delisted soon

Rock Band 4 is turning 10 this month, but it’s a bitter sweet event as later this week, the game will be delisted from digital storefronts. Now’s your last chance to buy the game on PSN and the Xbox Store for a seriously discounted price.

Spotted by Wario64, the Harmonix-developed rhythm title is set to be delisted due to expiring licenses. Like other games like it — AKA Guitar Hero — Rock Band 4 relied heavily on licensed songs to keep the game afloat, of course, things slowed down, with its last DLC being early last year.

The death of a game due licensed music is far from a new thing. Just last year Spec Ops: The Line was slapped with a licensed-based delisting due to using a song. Sometimes, this can work out like with Alpha Protocol, but most of the time, it’s just gonna lie dormant for good.

Rock Band 4 will be delisted on October 5, 2025… its 10-year anniversary.
