While Rocksteady Studios figures out fixes for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s game completion bug, it seems we now know story missions will be replayable. It’s also confirmed that endgame content can be played entirely solo.
Over on Reddit, Rocksteady staffer Darroch Brown summarized a recent Q&A hosted on Discord. Five Metropolis Invasion Levels are also set to be present, each of them upping the difficulty but offering better rewards for completion. Of course, Suicide Squad being a live-serivce looter shooter, this sort of feature is commonplace, but it’s nice to hear nonetheless, especially as the developer refuses to label it as a live-service.
Amid the summarization, Brown also reiterated its slightly unique AI companion mechanic. Endgame content is playable without the co-op, with AI companion characters provided with loadouts built from offline friends or leaderboard toppers. These offline friends are later rewarded for their builds being used, but it isn’t clear exactly how these players are rewarded.
Whatever the case may be, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League hits digital storefronts this Friday, with some forking over the extra dough to play ahead of release — with the Deluxe Edition —Â though that hasn’t been going so well thus far.
