Powered by cloud gaming, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to access and play games through the service on Amazon Fire TV starting this month.
Announced on the official Xbox website, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to use their Amazon Fire TVs to access the service this month. This includes playing games that are enabled through cloud gaming.
The post mentions that the Xbox app that will allow access to the cloud gaming will be coming to specific Amazon Fire TV sticks. These include the Fire TV Stick 4K along with the 4K Max variant. Furthermore, subscribers of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in over 25 different countries will be able to reap the benefits of this collaboration.
Xbox explains the simplicity of the new service, stating that players only need a few things to get up and running.
“To get started, players just need a Fire TV Stick, a Bluetooth-enabled wireless controller, and an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership to gain instant access to hundreds of phenomenal games, including Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, Starfield, and Forza Horizon 5, among others.”
