Bleach’s anime adaptation, which is based on Tite Kubo’s manga, debuted 20 years ago in October 2004, and now the long-running series is nearing its end.
Anime News Network reported that the fourth part of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will be the final season as confirmed by Aniplex during the one-hour finale of the anime’s third part. The fourth and last season will be titled Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity.
An announcement promotional video of the final season was posted on Aniplex’s YouTube channel.

The Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War arc started its first part in October 2022 with the second one premiering in July 2023. The third part ended on December 28, 2025, just a few days ago.
The current anime covers the remaining parts of the manga until the story’s conclusion. The final arc which is the Thousand-Year Blood War covers the 55th until the 74th volume of the manga.
Bleach also has an upcoming fighter video game titled Bleach Rebirth of Souls. The game is published by Bandai Namco and is set to release on March 21, 2025.
