While not as popular as other mainstream shonen titles, Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun is still quite well-received among anime fans. Well, get ready for some good news because a new season has been greenlit.
Screen Rant reported that the anime’s official X account announced that a fourth season of Osamu Nishi’s Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun has been confirmed. In the tweet announcing the sequel, a short announcement video was also uploaded. More info from Anime News Network states that the announcement was made coinciding with the fifth anniversary of the anime.
The video features Iruma and the mysterious 13th member of the Misfit Class, Purson Soi, who is seen in the background standing on a small roof holding a trumpet. This officially means that Season 4 will be adapting the Music Festival Arc.
It’s still undecided when Season 4 of Iruma-kun will be released or how many episodes the sequel will have. Considering the previous seasons have all been 20 plus episodes long, it’s highly likely that the anime will follow the same path. As mentioned earlier, it might not garner the same amount of viewers compared to other popular shonen titles, but Iruma-kun is still releasing more seasons and it’s pretty evident that it will finish the whole source material when it’s completed.
