Experience heart-pounding battles in new update for Lords of the Fallen

Celebrate Lords of the Fallen’s addition to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass with a brand new mode. Finally, Lords of the Fallen has a boss rush mode, and it’s better than fans expected.

The Clash of Champions update was released to mark the conclusion of the post-launch content roadmap devised by publisher CI Games to enhance the game. This roadmap included over 30+ updates that added content and balanced enemies, among other changes made to the game. The newly introduced mode was announced via CI Games’ YouTube channel.

In this new mode, players can enjoy two different experiences: Echoes of Battle and Crucible. Echoes of Battle allows players to revisit their favorite bosses, which is a welcome addition to the game.

Crucible, on the other hand, is a more traditional boss rush mode where players must fight against six increasingly difficult bosses. There are various rewards for completing this mode, including different shrine currencies.

Although Lords of the Fallen launched to mixed reviews, it seems that after 30+ updates of post-launch content and balancing, the game is in a much better state. This new update, adding a boss rush mode, is a welcome addition and even has some players asking for paid DLC in the future. Only time will tell if developer HEXWORKS can deliver on the renewed demand for more experiences in the game.
