New info for free-to-play Skate is showing up at Summer Game Fest

Electronic Arts’ Skate series is making a comeback during the Summer Game Fest later today. While we don’t know for sure what to expect, we assume the American developer plans on revealing more of its free-to-play revamp of the iconic skating series.

On X, Skate’s official account told people to tune into the Summer Game Fest where the studio plans on addressing “all of the completely unfounded rumors about M-Corp.” The event will kick off at 2 PM PT.

Announced back in 2020, under the development of Full Circle, this upcoming game will mark the first entry to the Skate series since 2010’s Skate 3. It’s unclear what we should expect, but it’ll probably be another cinematic trailer or some sort of gameplay showcase to tide fans over while we wait for its inevitable release.

Considering the game has been in the works for some time now, it’s also all-too-possible that a release date trailer could be on the table. We’ll have tow wait and see, and luckily we’ll just have to wait for a couple of hours.
