Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash receives new trailer

Class is in session with Sensei Gojo as we learn more about Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash. This newly revealed trailer delivers quite a bit of information about the upcoming game.

First off, the video of Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash will feature 2v2 combat with an emphasis on teamwork. This includes building your team off of the cast of characters to try and find synergies and complementary abilities. This even extends to the online play mode, where you and a friend can join up to fight increasingly difficult AI enemies.

We also learned about the use of cursed energy — think chakra from Naruto. While fighting, you can accrue cursed energy, which significantly increases the damage you can do via techniques using the character’s cursed power. This includes ultra-powerful moves called awakened attacks that imitate finishers from the show, including Gojo’s domain expansion.

Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash will feature three game modes. A story mode where you can experience the story so far of Jujutsu Kaisen, and then new original stories created just for this game. The other two game modes are online-based and consist of online two versus two fights, and two players teaming up to fight the aforementioned AI enemies.

Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash is set to release on February 2, 2024. Developed by Byking Inc., Gemdrops, and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash is shaping up to be a faithful adaptation of a beloved anime.
