Are you ready for the upcoming DLC for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown? Well, Ubisoft wants to make sure you know some pretty important information.
Revealed in a news piece highlighting The Mask of Darkness, players should know four major pieces of information before diving into the DLC.
To start off, players should be ready to part with any powers they have acquired over their time playing the game. In Radjen’s Mind Palace players will only have access to the Shadow of the Simurgh time power and the Rush of the Simurgh air-dash; everything else will disappear. This includes any upgrades like health, arrows, amulets, potions, etc.ย Sargon will get these all back when players leave the Mind Palace, but they best be ready to bring skills to challenge this DLC.
Sargon will also have to look out for new threats, both enemies and environmental traps. At any point, dangerous sawblades can appear, and players will have to think fast to avoid them. Wraiths and the undead inhabit the Palace and will challenge players to show off the skills they have acquired while playing the game.
Of course, the story of Radjen, one of the immortals, is important. Throughout the DLC, players will progress towards removing the corruption tainting Radjen and be able to experience new cutscenes.ย
These are just some of the important things Ubisoft highlighted about the DLC, but there is sure to be more to discover when it launches.
The Mask of Darkness releases September 17 for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, Amazon Luna, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
