Ghost of Tsushima updates sales figure amid new game reveal

Sucker Punch Productions has updated the sales figure of its heavy-hitter, Ghost of Tsushima. This comes at the heels of Ghost of Yotei’s announcement, confirming the developer is returning to the IP.

The new sales figure, which stands at over 13 million since its debut in 2020, could be found within a New York Times article (via GamingBolt). Last we heard of the game sold a respectable 9.7 million units, all the while finding strong footing all over the place.

Earlier this year, Ghost of Tsushima hit PC, quickly becoming the studio’s biggest single player release alongside its fourth biggest PC release. Additionally, John Wick director Chad Stahelski is working on adapting the game into a film.

As it stands, Ghost of Yotei is — supposedly — right around the corner, planning a 2025 release. We suspect it will be in the latter half of 2025.
