Cyberpunk 2077 won’t get PS5 Pro patch

CD Projekt Red has no intention to release a PS5 Pro patch, at least for the foreseeable future, and we wouldn’t hold our breath. The game has, for the most part, plateaued in development, though there are still easter eggs to be found.

Responding to a user on Twitter, the official Cyberpunk account addressed that it has “no plans” for a patch to take advantage of the mid-gen refresh. This isn’t too shocking, considering the studio has pulled all staff that were previously working on the game to other projects.

We currently have no plans for PS5 Pro patch

Chief among the projects fans can get hyped about are The Witcher’s next game as well as Cyberpunk’s sequel, codenamed Project Orion. The last major patch introduced was back in September to add FSR 3 with Frame Generation support. Additionally, it’s set to release on Mac next year.
