Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 wins Best Shooter at The Smash Jump Awards

Perhaps a tad surprising, or maybe not, Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 wins Best Shooter at The Smash Jump Awards. It’s only surprising if you haven’t played it, though.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 managed to fend off soon-to-be-dead XDefiant, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, and Helldivers 2 with its solid gameplay and surprisingly innovative mechanics for an IP that has long since remained pretty stagnant at the award show.

In our review, we said: “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a return to form for the franchise and deserves a spot among the best Call of Duty titles. BO6 is a complete top-to-bottom Call of Duty package, featuring an explosive campaign, a fun and frantic multiplayer and Zombies mode, the most dynamic gunplay and movement yet, and an all-around outstanding presentation.”
