Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza is the series’ second-biggest start

Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is the series’ second-biggest launch on Steam, only behind last year’s Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth. The game has a current peak of 22,327.

SteamDB info shows the stats (via Eurogamer), proving this specific entry, probably because it’s on the heels of the Infinite Wealth, is still a viable entry. That said, it’s still about half of what Infinite Wealth’s player base was during its release, but at the same time, Pirate Yakuza is very clearly a spin-off, whereas last year’s game was a mainline entry.

We feel like RGG Studio is probably pretty proud of this wacky pirate-centered spin-off.
