Stranger Things actor teases character’s fate

As 2025 marks the end of Netflix’s highly-praised Stranger Things, actor Finn Wolfhard has teased what happens to Mike Wheeler and how he feels about the character’s ending.

In a People Magazine interview, Wolfhard notes that he’s “so happy” while also “very confused and sad.” He also mentioned elsewhere in the interview that wrapping the sci-fi show up was “a lot.”

“I was so happy with his ending, and I don’t know, I was satisfied, but I was also very confused and sad, but also very happy.”

We knew the show was coming to a close with Season 5, with 650 hours of footage captured over the course of a full year. Earlier in the year, Hollywood Reporter states that during a Netflix press event, it was revealed that there was a lot of crying, which considering the show has been going on for nearly a decade, we don’t blame people for such a feat.

Stranger Things Season 5 kicks off on Netflix sometime this year.
