Ubisoft Quebec is providing significant support for Assassin’s Creed Shadows with its new fall roadmap. Two free major updates are planned to be released on available platforms this year.
The update on October 28 will focus on improving player experience with updated parkour and corrupted castles. New enemies are introduced to challenge the assassins within the corrupted castles, which can appear up to five times each season.
The update on November 25 will expand more content with a new quest and a special collaboration. The protagonists can complete the objectives to unlock new abilities that expand beyond their preferred playstyles. They can even challenge themselves through a friendly duel.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows will also sneak into the Nintendo Switch 2 on December 2. It doesn’t just include cross-progression, but also touch screen support for convenient menu navigation on the go. It’s the first modern Assassin’s Creed game on a Nintendo console that will also include every previous update from other platforms. The Claws of Awaji expansion is planned to release on the latest Nintendo console early next year. More support is coming for the game for this year, like new finishers, animus-themed rewards, and more surprises.
