New Horizon game revealed for newer gaming platforms

November 16, 2025

NCSoft is working with Guerrilla and Sony to present the new Horizon Steel Frontiers to PC and mobile devices. It brings the Horizon franchise into an MMORPG world for players to experience nature at its finest and strategize against the mechanical giants.

The trailer shows how machine Hunters explore the Deadlands for valuable discoveries. These opportunities aren’t without challenging great beasts that roam the new world. The producer, Sung-Gu Lee, even highlights the technological giant battles as the most significant experience in the game. They’re willing to make the feeling of taking down huge machinery satisfying with new ways to approach and utilize resources.

“The core concept of Horizon Steel Frontiers can be summed in one phrase: the thrill of taking down colossal machines.”

The game will offer an immersive experience with not just character customization, but also tribes from the original Horizon franchise. Relationship management is important in the Deadlands since players can either cooperate for shared rewards or challenge each other’s resources. They can even customize their outfits and gear to show off during exploration or intense battles. More details about the game will be revealed later, including more gameplay.
