Bandai Namco Studios recently updated Shadow Labyrinth with patch 1.1.0 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam; it’s also planned to launch soon for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
The trailer revealed the implemented changes to fix issues from fan feedback, including the huge difficulty and MAZE controls. The new update introduces Explorer Mode, a toned-down, stress-free difficulty for easier playthroughs. It’s still possible to play the original difficulty with Veteran Mode, which can easily be switched mid-playthrough at the title screen or Miku Sol menu. Both modes will include more Miku Sols for more convenient travel, including some Simple Miku Sols changing into Miku Sols.
The update also made several adjustments for the MAZE and Mini Puck, making the reward requirements less strict while giving more intuitive controls. The developers will continue to make necessary fixes in the future to improve the game’s stability and system mechanics.
