Ubisoft schedules new release date for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake

November 26, 2025

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake was originally launching in early 2021. It’s been delayed multiple times, with new devs joining the team, with the last update revealing a 2026 release window. Nothing else was mentioned this year until the company recently hinted at a more specific release date.

Ubisoft released the company’s 2025-2026 earnings figures, which recorded the performance for the company and recent game releases. The company also revealed its upcoming schedule for fiscal year 2025 Q4, which currently includes Rainbow Six Mobile, The Division Resurgence, and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake. It’s planned to launch in early 2026, though its gaming platforms are unconfirmed.

The latest Prince of Persia games were released on multiple platforms, including mobile devices for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. It is a good opportunity for the remake to launch in early 2026 to follow the franchise’s growing presence and hype from the recent Prince of Persia releases. The schedule can still change, but Ubisoft will provide more updates soon for the game’s official release date and gaming platforms.
