Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment has received its first huge update with patch 1.0.2. It provides a variety of post-game content with its new challenges, weapons, and even Sync Strikes today.
The largest addition from the deve is Dangerous Species, powerful enemies that spark with corruption and malice. Completing the main story will unlock new Battle Challenges and Hyrule Challenges, which will introduce the new Dangerous Species with vicious aggression, including Bokoblins, Sludgelikes, and even Golems. They’re so fierce, even their materials are dangerous when using โScra Attacks.โย
Ganondorf’s forces aren’t the only faction becoming more dangerous, but Raul’s army is as well. The Mysterious Golem and warriors of various races can wield the Greatsword of Light and Spear of the Upper Guard, provided by the highest authority of Raul and the King of Hyrule. Completing the new Hyrule Challenges can grant Zelda and Calamo a new boomerang Sync Strike. Even the Block Golem can utilize Synchro Strikes with its massive block spin to hit waves of targets. Some of the newly added battles are the following:
- “A serious battle with Raul”
- “Battle to get a lot of Pou”
- “Unrivaled battles where you can aim for over 2000 KOsโ
The rest of the update provides numerous bugfixes and functionality improvements like saving Golem’s special action with weapon types, selecting a character and a weapon in the Tutorial Room, and visualizing preview effects for selectable Special Food and Spare Battery. The game still has one more update in its future, so the developers will release more details closer to its determined launch.
