CD Project Red recently showcased its performance between 2024 Q1 and 2025 Q3 through its latest earnings report. It also reveals the company’s plans and achievements, including the successful growth of the Cyberpunk franchise.
The company has confirmed Cyberpunk 2077’s grand success with over 35 million copies sold. The game has grown tremendously since its original launch with substantial system improvements and updates, especially the Phantom Liberty expansion. The game also rebuilt its hype within the market through the Ultimate Edition bundles and latest platform releases like the Nintendo Switch 2.
It’s also been confirmed that Cyberpunk 2 is in current development with other major projects like The Witcher 4. The company is currently prioritizing The Witcher 4 with over 400 developers, especially since it was nominated as the most anticipated game in The Game Awards 2025. During the company’s growth in 2025, the majority of new recruits joined Cyberpunk 2 development. The company will ideally welcome over 300 developers to support Cyberpunk 2 development by 2027.
CD Project is also managing support for other later priorities, including the new project Sirius and Project Hadar. It’s going to be a while for the projects’ reveals, though, more details for the upcoming games will appear soon.
