Square Enix’s new IP earned many positive responses from fans

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is one of Square Enix’s new IPs from the creators of Octopath Traveler and Bravely Default. It previously released a free demo on Nintendo Switch 2 before opening a survey to gain fan feedback. Naofumi Matsuhida, the game’s producer, recently delivered a message from the development team about the game’s latest development process and rating from fans.

The development team found the game being received from fans in Japan and overseas as overall positive. The game is currently in its final development stage, letting the developers polish and fix any issues before its upcoming release in 2026. Since its development process is running as scheduled, its finalized release date will be revealed soon.
