Digital release for the Super Mario Galaxy Movie revealed

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie continues its successful momentum in theaters by breaking over $964 million at the global box office. Its performance has currently surpassed The Minecraft Movie by over $4 million, becoming the second-highest-grossing film before the Super Mario Movie. If its pace continues, it will be the first film in 2026 to reach $1 billion in worldwide grossing.

It’s already being prepared for a digital release for anyone to conveniently enjoy at home. The new release will widen the film’s background with exclusive bonuses, including behind-the-scenes interviews with actors, Easter eggs, soundtrack, and other features expanding the movie’s lore. It’s currently available through multiple streaming sites, including Verizon, Xfinity, Amazon Prime Video, Fandango at Home, and more.

Anyone who prefers a physical release of the Super Mario Galaxy Movie can acquire its DVD and Blu-Ray versions from eligible retailers, like Amazon. The movie and bonus content will be available to watch with 4K Ultra HD visuals on June 16, 2026.
