Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has a no HUD option

Ubisoft is remaking Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag under the new name Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. Of course, it makes sense to have all the HUD clutter that you see, considering the circumstances of being in the Animus, but the team wants fans to have as much immersion as they can, so away with the HUD if you want.

On social media, Ubisoft announced that Resynced will include an option to seamlessly hide the HUD if players want a clearer screen. It’s a welcome addition considering how much clutter the studio throws on-screen from time to time.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag remains one of the studio’s most beloved entries in the franchise, which is probably due to unique mechanics set and a solid story as players follow the Animus-bound world of Edward Kenway. Beyond that little quality-of-life improvement, you’ll also be able to adjust the hood, too, which is once again a little thing, but it adds more options that we’re sure players will love.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is poised to release on July 9, 2026 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
