Fall in love with the hills in A Highland Song

Take to the Scottish Highlands in A Highland Song and experience this narrative platformer. Stepping into the shoes of Moira McKinnon, they’ve decided to run away to reach the sea.

For the past 15 years, Moira has lived peacefully at the edge of the Scottish Highlands until a letter from Uncle Hamish urges her to make the trek to his lighthouse on the coast with a “wonderful surprise” promised. Developer Inkle describes the game’s mountainous story as “weaving” rather than “branching,” with a mix of mythology, family secrets, and history tying things all together.

This 2.5D adventure is even replayable with one trek not being enough to uncover all the secrets that lie beneath. A Highland Song is available now on the Switch and PC. If you’re on the fence, perhaps the launch trailer will sway your opinion.
