007 First Light recently launched with substantial success, breaking through 2.7 million sales in its first week. IO Interactive plans to deliver more content for the return of Agent 007 with its yearly support, including the Nintendo Switch 2 release.
The developer revealed its year-one content roadmap, confirming new challenges, gadgets, new game+, and improvements. One of the final missions is the Bawma Will Return mission, which makes James Bond cooperate with Bawma under his settled alliance with MI6.
The roadmap also added the Nintendo Switch 2 release, which was previously mentioned to launch within summer 2026. Some content could be rescheduled or delayed based on the studio’s progress, though the new Bawma Will Return mission was previously shown during the Summer Game Fest 2026. It included the Nintendo Switch 2 with other gaming platforms, implying the game will release soon enough for more players to experience the new mission.
The remaining content of the roadmap is hidden surprises for fans of 007 First Light, titling them as James Bond Day Reward and returning Wishlist Milestone 5. The developers will reveal more about its upcoming support within its scheduled roadmap.
