Mouse: P.I For Hire reaches over a million players after major Update Patch 1.2.1

Fumi Games recently expressed gratitude for its growing community, having Mouse: P.I For Hire welcome a million players since its launch on April 16, 2026. This growth occurred shortly after the developers released the game’s major update patch, along with its new physical release.

One of the largest additions for Update Patch 1.2.1 is Level Revisit, a feature for exploring completed levels for missing collectibles and side quests. It also brought other new additions to refresh the cartoony investigations, such as Uncapped Variable Refresh Rate, support for ultra-wide and super ultrawide monitors, weapon wheel upgrades, performance optimizations, improved settings, and bug fixes.

The latest update is currently available, along with the new Balanced Graphics mode for Nintendo Switch 2, making the game run at a consistent 40 FPS.

Another update patch is planned for the Nintendo Switch 2 that will bring more optimization and bug fixes. Fumi Games’ new IP still has room to grow with more support incoming in its future, including a possible story expansion.
