Glowing reviews point to a strong start for TEVI

Reviews are flooding in for Metroidvania-style TEVI, a spiritual successor to 2016’s widely popular Rabi-Ribi from the same developers. It seems fans are digging the game and of course, that seven-year wait all culminated to this game’s release.

Similar to CreSpirit’s Rabi-Ribi, the player is put in the shoes of a cutesy girl fitted with bunny ears, GamesRadar reports. The Steam stats speak for themselves, though. Since its release late last month, the game has garnered a “Very Positive” rating with over a thousand reviews to read from.

TEVI itself has the player dash, slash, and blast their way through waves of fiendish foes, with small breaks in between. These breaks are comprised of quaint villages of NPCs with quests for you to accomplish as you progress. Of course, with its status as a Metroidvania, it also has many of the fixings of that genre to keep the fans entertained.

If Steam isn’t your thing, though, it’s also available on the Nintendo Switch.
