Embrace the love letter to metal with Metal: Hellsinger VR

It’s confirmed that the love letter to metal, Metal: Hellsinger, is coming to VR platforms. The game will be arriving on PlayStation VR 2, Steam VR, and Meta Quest.

That’s right, you can experience the nonstop heart-pounding rhythm action of Metal: Hellsinger completely immersed in virtual reality. Based on the trailer announcing the port and the gameplay that was shown off, the port looks to be faithful to the original release. While the graphics appear to be toned down a bit, it’s still surprising the amount of quality the team was able to achieve while keeping Meta Quest 2 in mind.

With the announcement, fans may have wondered how immersive the game truly is, and thankfully, developer Funcom is more than willing to share. The dual pistols will be able to be aimed independently of one another, reloading is manual, and it’s up to you how you want to play. Movement in full VR, using just the joystick, or even playing while sitting are all methods of play thoughtfully fleshed out for this newest release.ย

While no release date has been provided, it is confirmed that the release is planned for this year. What has been confirmed is that the original score, made up by legendary artists, will be fully transferred to the VR port.
