Barring a 2023 VR title, Sniper Elite made a return with Sniper Elite: Resistance earlier this year, with its last traditional entry being Sniper Elite 5 in 2022.
In its short time on sale thus far, it dominated retail sales charts in the UK. But, in our review, we said: “Sniper Elite: Resistance can have exciting moments. Getting spotted while finishing your last objective and making a hasty escape from the area can be exhilarating. However, these moments are squandered by rigid mission structures and stealth mechanics that have been implemented in more interesting ways in other games. It is a serviceable game that is functional but not exceptional.” Ultimately, landing on a 5/10.
