Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, and The Witch Queen are all now available for free for all players between May 7 and June 3.
The announcement came on the official Destiny 2 YouTube channel on May 7. The promotion also includes the last 4 seasons worth of content.
“Experience Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, Destiny 2: Beyond Light, and Destiny 2: The Witch Queen expansions, now in Open Access and available to all players May 7 – June 3, 2024.”
The promotion runs until June 3, the day before the next major expansion, The Final Shape, releases. PlayStation Plus subscribers can also get the most recent Destiny 2 expansion, Lightfall, free as a part of the May PlayStation Plus Essential games.
The hype for the upcoming The Final Shape is stronger than ever. Destiny 2’s Into the Light update is still in full swing, with the boss rush mode Pantheon having been added on April 30. Add that to the fact that the new PvP map pack released on May 7, and the push by developer Bungie towards The Final Shape becomes clear.
