The world of Age of Water is open for you to explore, discover settlements, interact with players and non-playable characters, complete tasks, find artifacts, wage war, or trade to survive. In this world, it is up to you. Work for settlements to gain precious resources to increase survivability and further your knowledge of this crafted world. Sell artifacts for quick money or sell resources extracted from the old world. Become a captain as you gather resources and attempt to survive in this post-apocalyptic world. Fight others in defense of your own home, a ship you can customize and expand, or become a pirate and steal other players’ ships to broaden your chances of survival.
Age of Water will initially be released in Steam Early Access in an attempt to gather feedback to help improve the game, but have no worries, as the entire story will be available from day one. This follows previous alpha and beta sessions that developer Three Whales Studio has used for precious feedback to fix bugs and improve the game. The indie game is being published by Gaijin Entertainment through its inCubator program, which was introduced to help support new and promising game developers, akin to Three Whales.
