Inti Creates recently announced Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, the upgraded version of the fast-paced 2D platformer. It doesn’t just bring visual and performance improvements for the classic Azure Striker Gunvolt trilogy, but also new content, such as the new library and story modes.
Azure Striker Gunvolt GX is a new campaign that forces the two protagonists, Gunvolt and Copen, to work together against a new, powerful threat. The new adventure will make the pair utilize the Inspiration system, a new mechanic that rewards gameplay and score bonuses when the protagonists coordinate tagging properly.
Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will launch digitally and physically on October 22, 2026. Anyone who owns the Nintendo Switch version can purchase the upgrade pack during its official launch.
