Get ready for another look at Focus Entertainment and Don’t Nod’s highly anticipated game, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden.
In this new trailer posted on Focus Entertainment’s YouTube, we get a better understanding of what’s at stake for our protagonists, Red and Antea. Two experienced spirit hunters have been sent to New Eden to aid the settlers when a mission gone horribly wrong ends with Antea’s death. Can Red set aside his feelings for Antea and banish her spirit, or will he forsake the settlers of New Eden for the chance to revive his lost love? Only time will tell. Experience an emotionally charged journey that touches on the complexity of love and sacrifice. Is one’s duty worth abandoning the one you love?
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 13. Three editions of the game will be released — a standard version, which is just the game, an edition titled “Red Echoes,” and then a collector’s edition. The Red Echoes edition will include Red’s notebook with 20 illustrated pages sketched by studio members. A fantastically designed ink writing set with an authentic feather pen and an inkwell, as well as a case for the set designed after the game. Lastly, console versions of the game will receive exclusive cover art.
A collector’s edition of the game will be released and is currently available for pre-order via the Focus Entertainment Store. The collector’s edition will feature a statue of main characters Red and Antea that can be separated, a steelbook case, a 128-page artbook, the game with DLC clothing for Red, and two signet rings.
