Capcom brings new modes for next Street Fighter 6 patch

Ingrid is the next fighter stepping into Street Fighter 6, along with new content for her update. Players who enjoy creating diverse, destructive Avatars will enjoy the upcoming patch’s largest additions: Avatar Arcade mode and Random Avatar Matches.

Random Avatar Matches is a new mode that makes Avatar Battles more fair and accessible with streamlined stats and maxed drive gauges. Customization is more open with fully unlocked fighting styles and accessories, letting anyone customize a preferred avatar for fashionable battles, especially with the new Breakneck Brawler Outfit. Participating in the new mode will reward Avatar Points, the new currency for ranking and receiving rewards, like cosmetics.

The other new mode is Avatar Arcade, which makes level grinding easier for Avatars. Players can finally take their creations to a traditional Arcade run against random CPUs with the Battle Tour option. Each stage will grant exclusive rewards when completing battles against certain opponents, especially rare, unique intruders. It’s also possible to train with certain characters in the Spar with a Master option, which can help players improve and bond with masters.

These new modes will be available once Ingrid makes her magical entrance on May 28, 2026. Along with the new additions is every fighter in the Year 3 pass receiving the most anticipated Outfit 3.
