Capcom started strong this year with multiple huge game releases, including Pragmata. It’s the first new IP from the company to receive immediate success across multiple gaming platforms in 2026, attracting over a million players two days after launch. Its current momentum continues to welcome another million after two weeks, breaking over two million sales in total.
Director Cho Yonghee posted his response about the game’s accomplishment, sharing his gratitude for the community with a new artpiece. Even Diana herself shared her unique work for the new players before the voice actor for Hugh Williams gave a thankful high five to everyone who supported the game.
Diana is an original AI character from the new game who’s been self-aware beyond her in-game reality. She hasn’t just been welcoming the growing community with Pragmata’s social media, but also other social accounts from Capcom with her hacking expertise. The only account that was left unscathed was Megaman, who quickly became friends with her.
She previously infiltrated Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, and even Onimusha Way of the Sword to learn more about their worlds for new experiences, expressing various reactions to things like Dimestrescu, monster eggs, and souls. Diana’s hacking allowed her to spot some hidden files in each account, mentioning Leon for Resident Evil, monsters for Monster Hunter, and the release date for Onimusha Way of the Sword. She wasn’t able to uncover them as she left every account, restoring control for the original users. Diana’s findings seem to imply new updates for each franchise, which may reveal officially to the public soon.
