Choo-Choo Charles heads to Switch next year

Two Star Games’ indie horror, Choo-Choo Charles heads to the Nintendo Switch next year. Meanwhile, it heads to current and past-gen consoles this week.

The sole developer announced the news on YouTube with a short video showcasing the ups and downs of making the new versions alongside the proper release dates. Frankly, a console release just makes sense, and with the Switch admittedly lacking much in terms of the horror scene lately, it’s a welcome addition if you wanna experience the spider-train game yourself.

While the PlayStation and Xbox versions release on December 21 at an understandable $19.99, its Switch version is likely needing more optimization, and as such, is trailing a bit behind, heading our way on January 18, 2024.

We weren’t huge fans of the game, feeling it could’ve had a couple more months in the oven. In our review, we call it the “antithesis of a game that wears its silly nature on its sleeve, it hinges on the wacky premise of running from a spider-train to draw people in, but fails to deliver on anything to keep people.”
