Cyberpunk 2077 uses DLSS in all modes on Switch 2

Both docked and handheld modes of Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition on the Nintendo Switch 2 will use DLSS, an upscaler that can help with frame rates. It’s also used regardless of playing in Performance or Quality Mode.

As confirmed by Eurogamer, this DLSS usage is a specific version that Nvidia made to work on the Switch 2.

โ€œWeโ€™re using a version of DLSS available for Nintendo Switch 2 hardware, powered by Nvidiaโ€™s Tensor cores. The game utilizes DLSS in all four modes: in handheld and docked, and the performance and quality variations of each.โ€

In terms of performance, we can expect 30 FPS while playing in Quality Mode and 40 FPS in Performance Mode. Resolution-wise, Performance Mode tones the game down to 720p, while Quality Mode brings it to 1080p.

Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition launches June 5, 2025 as a third-party launch title for the Switch 2.
