Dragon Ball modder ends major support for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Revamp

Bandai Namco recently announced the successor to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, confirming its final support for the game with the upcoming Future Saga Chapter 4 expansion. As the official studio finally shifts its attention away from lengthy support, dedicated mods follow suit with Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Revamp.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Revamp is a fan-created version that redesigned the characters’ skills, costumes, and even mechanics. It’s formatted to feel more akin to the anime with unique cutscene transformations and new attacks compared to the original version, being more balanced and competitive.

Once the Future Saga Chapter 4 expansion launches, the mods will release every work-in-progress creation as free, open source content. Anyone can acquire the unfinished assets as long as credit is given to the dedicated mods. It’s the final contribution given to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, for which the team expressed gratitude to those involved with the extensive work. With how much the community grew with Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, there’s a huge chance for its successor to also receive substantial mod support from committed fans.
