Epic Games to introduce Exact Amounts for V-Bucks

in News

Many free-to-play games force players to spend more than the necessary amount for premium currency, leaving them with leftover change that’s less than the lowest premium item cost, like Diablo 4. To make purchasing items easier and convenient, Epic Games is bringing the Exact Amount option to its games.

This new feature allows users to round up their current V-Buck bank to the exact amount required for a purchase. The developer announced the new option dropping into Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket League on October 14.

Starting October 14, you can "top up" the V-Bucks needed for a purchase with the new Exact Amount option.

The exact amount feature only rounds up balances to specific increments in proportion to item costs. To avoid having unusable V-Bucks change in multiple balances, Epic Games is giving away V-Bucks. Any current player with leftover V-buck balances below 50 will round up to the nearest 50 in Fortnite and Rocket League. Item prices in Fall Guys will be measured in increments of 100, so playersโ€™ balances will round up to the nearest 100.

This new feature is available across every eligible platform except PlayStation consoles. The developer will continue making updates to make the option accessible for everyone.
