Epic Mickey: Rebrushed heading to the Switch

THQ Nordic is bringing back its IP-led Epic Mickey with Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, a remaster of the 2011 Wii game featuring everyone’s favorite cartoon mouse. Not much is known about it — not even a release date — but we speculate that it’s going to be March 25.

During the recent Partner Showcase, when it was THQ’s turn to step up to the plate this is what we got. The reveal came bundled in with pleasantly re-animated trailer focusing on the events leading up to the game. Yes, the trailer is largely a recreation of the original Wii trailer back in the day, complete with some splashes of gameplay. By and large, at this time, all we have to go off of is that the game looks sharper while also having that “Wii” look.

Considering it’s been almost 14 years since the original came out, it does feel high-time for a reboot or remaster of this charmingly eerie adventure.

More Smash Jump: Adrian reviews Promenade, the next Tomb Raider remaster has perhaps been teased, and Grounded heads to the Switch.
